Super Street Rules

|
| |
| All drivers
are required to have their own Raceivers for one-way communication
with race director official. |
| |
| Top 5 feature
finishers will be required to go to tech area after the race. |
| |
| General |
| 1. |
Inspections may occur anytime
at the discretion of a race official. |
| 2. |
All cars must be American
made passenger cars with a minimum wheelbase of 107. |
| 3. |
Engine must match the same
manufacturer of the car (chevy to chevy, ford to ford etc). |
|
| |
| Weight |
| 1. |
3200lbs. with driver. |
| 2. |
Add 100lbs if using all aluminum
body, which includes hood, roof, trunk lid, front/rear fenders, doors,
a-pillars. |
| 3. |
No ballast allowed in drivers
compartment. All ballast must be painted white with car number and
attached to frame or roll cage with a minimum of two, ½
bolts. |
| 4. |
Steel body cars may use aluminum
hood and still be 3200lbs. |

| Frame
and Roll Cage |
| 1. |
Full frames mandatory and
must match OEM body and engine (i.e. no ford LTD sub frames being
used with chevy engine and/or chevy monte carlo body). |
| 2. |
No altering of stock frame |

Rear of frame can be tube
chassis from shock mount back. |
| 4. |
Bracing allowed between the
frame rails. |
| 5. |
Unibody cars will be allowed
as long as the front to rear have subconnectors of at least 2x2 steel.
Unibody car must meet stock locations for shocks, springs, trailing
arm mounts (both on the rearend as well as the chassis). There will
be a weight penalty added if Plymouth officials deem your unibody
car to be outside the intent of the rules. Please bring ballast with
you (weight penalty will be up to 100lbs). |

Any repairs to front stub
must retain OEM measurements for make and model of car. These repairs
are subject to track official approval. |
| 9. |
Roll cage must be composed
of a minimum 1 ½ OD .090 thickness round steel tubing. |

A four-post roll cage must
be installed with minimum 3 door bars on drivers door. At critical
joints in the drivers door must have gusset plates. Drivers
door must have 1/8 steel plate welded. |
| 11. |
Minimum 2 bars for passenger
side door. |
| 12. |
Bars may be added from firewall
forward to protect frame and radiator. |
| 13. |
Main roll cage can be braced
rearward. |
| 14. |
Drive shaft hoop is mandatory
and must be installed 6-8 behind transmission tail shaft. No
chains allowed. |
| 15. |
Offset cages are not permitted. |
| 16. |
No bars shall protrude through
windshield, windows, or body panels. |
| 17. |
All four corner posts of the
cage must be roof high and connected by a roof hoop. All four corner
posts must fasten directly to the frame on the bottom and have braces
at dash height both in front of and behind the driver. |

Minimum 3 bar window screen
in front of driver is mandatory. Window screens/mesh mandatory. |
| 19. |
Window Net with quick-release
latch is mandatory on drivers window. |

| |
| Body |
| 1. |
Front and Rear Fire Wall in
stock location with stock-appearing steel floor pan. No aluminum floor
pans allowed. Front and Rear Fire Walls MUST be the same thickness
steel as OEM produced. Cars utilizing a motor mid-plate MUST still
have a steel firewall with same thickness as OEM produced. Rear firewall
MUST not be lower in height than front dash. |

Interior must be open with
no boxing allowed. Aluminum decking will be allowed in the interior
where appropriate. The passenger side interior decking will be allowed
a 12 maximum length from passenger door panel to edge of interior
decking. This is to allow for fuel line to be separated from drivers
compartment. |
| 3. |
All cars must have complete
bodies using original-type body parts. Body dimensions must remain
as factory produced. |
| 4. |
Bodies must match manufacturer
make (chevy to chevy, ford to ford, etc.) |
| 5. |
Body parts can be steel or
aluminum. All aluminum bodies must add 100lbs. (see Weight rule above) |
| 6. |
All body panels must be securely
fastened or welded at all times. Wire ties or plastic fasteners not
permitted. |
| 7. |
Plastic nose and tail covers
allowed. |
| 8. |
Front and rear bumpers must
be safety chained to the frame or hood bar. Each bumper must have
a towing chain attached. |
| 9. |
Hoods and trunks must be securely
fastened with a pin-type fastener. Bolts and chains are not allowed
to hold down hoods and trunk lids. |
| 10. |
Fuel cell is mandatory, maximum
22 gallon. |
| 11. |
8 spoiler max. |
| 12. |
Full frame cars (within the
rules to the rear shock mount or kickup) with Camaro bodies will be
allowed. If it is a unibody car, you will be subject to the unibody
rules contained herein. |

components allowed. |
| 6. |
Stock steering box only. No
rack and pinion. |
| 7. |
No struts |
| 8. |
No mono-leaf spring cars.
No half leaf spring cars. Stack leaf spring cars both sides only.
No adjustable leaf spring shackles or sliders allowed. Leaf spring
mounts must be in stock location with rubber or polyurethane bushings. |

Aftermarket race springs allowed. |
| 10. |
Steel racing shocks only.
$120 maximum per shock. One shock per wheel. |
| 11. |
No coil over eliminators. |
| 12. |
Trailing arms and springs
must be in factory or stock position. No J-bar or panhard bars allowed.
No 5th link (pull bar, biscuit bar, etc) allowed. |
| 13. |
No aluminum suspension parts
permitted. |
| 14. |
No fifth-spring ladder bar,
pull bar, lift bar, or energy-absorbing mechanism allowed. Recovery
shock on top of rear housing permitted. |

| Brakes |

| Engine |

out of reach of driver while belted in the car. Traction control not
allowed. If you are caught with traction control, you will not be
allowed to return to the track for one year. |

Motor can be moved back to
number 1 spark plug in parallel with upper ball joints. |
| 8. |
No dry sump. No accusump or
partial dry sump systems. Must be complete wet sump system. |

| Fuel
System |
| 1. |
Fuel pump in stock location.
No electric fuel pumps. No belt-driven fuel pumps. |
| 2. |
Race gasoline only.
No alcohol. No nitrous oxide. |
| 3. |
Fuel cell mandatory.
Maximum 22 gallon capacity. Fuel cell must be mounted in trunk
area between frame rails with at least 1 ½ clearance
on all four sides. Minimum of two, 12 gauge 1 ½ inch
wide safety straps mandatory. |

12 inch clearance
to the ground required. |

| Exhaust |
| 1. |
Headers allowed. |
| 2. |
Exhaust exiting behind
front tires or within engine compartment must not exceed 100
decibels. It is highly recommended that exhaust run under car
and exit behind driver. |

No exhaust allowed to
exit through the hood. |

| |
|
| |
| Battery |
| 1. |
Battery must be located
behind drivers seat and secured to frame or roll cage
in a battery box. |
| 2. |
A battery disconnect
switch/kill switch with clearly marked on/off label is required
within reach for safety officials. |

| |
| Transmission |
| 1. |
Stock-style transmission
with minimum 2 forward and 1 reverse gear. |
| 2. |
Automatic or manual
transmission permitted. |

No Bert, Brinn, or Falcon-type

change, delete or add to rules throughout the racing season.
The management reserves the right of interpretation of all rules and the
right to inspect and reject
any car and/or driver, crew member, etc. during the racing program. |
